Admit it…you want to try it out…you’ve seen the hokey commercial exclaiming “Bump It Up!” Let’s talk about what “Bump It” does for you…it gives you that extra volume and height at the crown of your head (think Paris Hilton pony tail) without all the teasing of the hair or root lifters, etc. It’s a plastic insert that you place at the crown of your head, with gripper teeth. Then you place the next layer of hair over the gripper teeth (the bump it). This creates a faux bump and nobody is the wiser.
I am dying to try it. The price isn’t too shabby either, just $19.99 for a 4-pack (two large and two small bump its).
There is a second part to this bump it line…the Hollywood bump it…now this would REALLY make you look like Paris Hilton. I’m not sure I would even wear it in public unless it was for a prom, wedding, etc. because it is quite dramatic, kind of reminds me of the misshapen heads on Star Trek. So this is a bigger bump for the same price. For the money, I would try the normal bump it first and see how much you love or hate it, then indulge with the Hollywood Bump It.
I am wondering if this is the replacement gadget for the tap teaser, remember that tool? You just tap tap tap your way to extra volume? Now you can’t find it anywhere. We’ll see if this new Bump It will stand the test of time or end up in infomercial heaven.
