Editorial Guidelines for Submitting Content to Schmoozins.com
Please note: It is in your best interest to read these guidelines through to help ensure your content can be published. We reserve the right to refuse any submissions and terminate author accounts whose privileges are abused.
Type of Content We Accept
Your content must be of interest to women and fall into any of the categories listed on the website.
Acceptance Guidelines
Your contribution must meet the following criteria:
- It must be completely original content written by you or by a ghostwriter that has provided you with exclusive rights to the content. Although you may reference other content in your submission, the main component of the content must belong to you and you only.
- The content must be informative and useful to our readers. If the content is clearly self-serving and doesn’t offer any value to our readers, it will be rejected.
- The content cannot be an ad, press release or any other piece of promotional copy. Simply put, self-promotional content will not be accepted.
- Your content must not promote hate, violence, pornography or encourage any type of illegal activity. In addition, your content must not include any profanity.
- Your main body content must be a minimum of 300 words. It can be a maximum of 1000 words. If you need more than 1000 words, please submit a Part 1, Part 2, etc. of your submission. *NOTE* We will accept content that is shorter than 300 words (or videos, audio clips), provided that we feel their is value to our readers.
- Your content title must have the first letter of each word capitalized only. Do not submit titles with any words with all capital letters. Ex. “A Quick Cure to Painful Yeast Infections” is acceptable, while, “A QUICK CURE to PAINFUL Yeast Infections” is not.
- Your title should not include an extra punctuations or characters, including commas, asterisks, etc. Just keep it simple and you’ll do fine.
- Your content can include up to a 50-word byline/resource box at the end of the article. This byline can include up to 3 self-serving website links.
Schmoozins Rights
- We reserve the right to refuse any content submissions.
- We reserve the right to terminate accounts that are abused.
- We reserve the right to edit your content for editorial reasons including adding editorial commentary, fixing grammar, spelling and style. However, please note it is your responsibility to proofread all your content prior to submission. Any content with extraneous errors will not be accepted.
