Father’s day is coming next week and dads need to feel loved too. Ladies, if you have a husband or significant other that is a good father, let him know. Sometimes dads get a bad reputation for slacking on family duties and I know a few personally. There are also many men who actually take being a dad seriously and are very good at it.
Hopefully most of these men were good to you on mother’s day and made you feel special at least for a day before you get back to the real world. These guys need a day to, and even when they say they don’t want anything special, do something. A lot of men just want a day to themselves to go do what they want, so it should be an easy request to fill.
To all of the father’s out there that do take care of the family and don’t put golf ahead of the kids, you have my respect. Take one day to yourself and just do what you want, if the wife will let you. The other 364 days belong to your reason for living and need your undivided attention.
To all the babies’ daddy’s out there that think the women should do it all, man up and take care of your responsibilities. Take it from someone who had a crappy, loser, uninvolved dad, your kids need you in their lives along with mom. A real man changes poopy diapers.
