Just Do It, Even if You’re Not Sure How Well You’ll Do

Be ConfidentSometimes it can be intimidating to do something you’ve never done something before. That doesn’t mean you can’t do it, though. All it takes is a willingness to learn and to simply go for it.

Whether you’re talking about a new work skill, or a pastime that your partner would like you to join them in, willingness can make up for a lack of initial enthusiasm if you feel a bit overwhelmed or hesitant that you can make a success of your venture.

Remember, this is an opportunity to gain new knowledge. It may turn out to be something you don’t care for, or don’t take a real interest in. But the chance is there to gain a new perspective on something, and no knowledge is ever truly wasted.

So go ahead - take the plunge into something new. Be confident that the experience will be a positive one, and you may be surprised how true that prediction is! And the funniest part is, once you’ve done it, you’ll wonder what you were worried about in the first place.
