Now I’ve seen everything, which I am sure by the time I buy and try this mascara, I will have seen 10 new products come out.
Covergirl is marketing a new mascara promised to make your eyes “4 times brighter!”. Rihanna is their spokesperson for the new Eyelights Mascara line. Their interactive website allows you to click on your eye color and then they pop up a tube of mascara that is made for your specific eye color.
How does it make your eyes 4 times brighter (brighter than bare lashes that is)? Well little metallic shavings are in the mascara tube, they “act like little mirrors reflecting light” making your eyes more luminous and bright. This sounds pretty far fetched, at best.
Nonetheless, I am going to buy some and try it, because after all, I AM a sucker. I will re-post with my mystical findings and my luminous eyes. If anyone else has tried this and found it to be fabulous and light-enhancing…do share
