There was something about Lady Gaga (aka Stefani Germanotta) that really reminded me of another artist…Little Mama. They both must have the same crazy ass stylist – themselves!
The interesting thing about Lady Gaga (and Little Mama), in my opinion, is that they are both very attractive people. I think they are attractive no matter what, but they are very attractive minus the odd clothing and mile high makeup. Some other things the two have in common is childhood brilliance coupled with a high rate of success at a young age. Both are in their early 20′s and both are from the state of New York.
Now there’s a rumor to start. Lady Gaga and Little Mama separated at birth! Even their stage names are similar…how come nobody else has noticed this before?
What I don’t “get” about people that dress differently and behave differently is the fact that they often make statements like “I don’t care” and “I just like being different” or “I’m redefining the world’s definition of sexy” etc…here’s my thought…if you are truly comfortable with yourself and how you look and don’t give a good pot belly pig what anyone thinks…then why are we wasting so much time defending thyself and said “image”?
i.e., people that really don’t care and aren’t trying to “make a statement” of some sort…they um, don’t make statements on the subject. When asked “_____why do you dress that way?”…just say “no comment” if all you’re doing is being you.
On a related – but separate – note, has anyone heard of Keri Hilson? When I first heard her song “Turnin Me On” song featuring Lil Wayne (adore!) I thought it was Little Mama singing. She even calls herself “lil mama” during the song…further adding to the confusion. I love this song, by the way.
