I love winter, the snow is beautiful and the cold never really bothers me. I am that weird guy you see out in the winter wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I don’t even put a coat on until it gets below 30 degrees. Having said all that I can’t wait for spring and the warmer weather.
It’s not for me, I overheat in the sun. It’s for my kids. I think they need to get of the house and shake off some of the cabin fever they are suffering from. This is our first full winter indoors and they are sick of being inside, it has been a very long cold winter for them. I tried to take them outside this winter but they weren’t going for it, they wouldn’t move in the snow and cried a lot. They also a prone to ear infections and taking them outside was always risky.
With it getting warm out they can go outside and play in the sandbox or swing on the playset I built for them. This is the first summer they have been able to walk and run around the yard, I am excited to get them out and away from the living room for a while, hopefully curing whatever bug that causes grumpiness and irritation.
