My wife has never been a fan of sci-fi or monster movies but I am, so usually I watch them by myself when she is sleeping or when my kids are napping. A while ago I started watching a show called “True Blood” and really enjoyed watching it.
I was telling my wife about it and trying my best to explain what the show was about. She sounded mildly interested and decided to watch the show. We watched the entire season and then watched it again without me. On top of that now she is hooked on that movie Twilight, I liked it too but she REALLY liked it.
Both True Blood and Twilight involve humans falling in love with good vampires. She now tells me she wishes I was a vampire and would bite her like that. At first I thought she was kidding but not so any more. The topic keeps coming up and she is smiling less now when she says it, “it’s all about the passion and romance”, she says. “Look at the animalistic way he acts around her, it’s so sexy”. Wonderful, our husband and wife time together is almost nonexistent these days due to the kids and work. Now I also have the added pressure of competing with her immortal fantasy man and his movie scripted ways. We are gonna need an entire weekend away from the kids and mass quantities of alcohol to get thru this one.
Why don’t you just bite her and see what happens?
